Download started

You are about a minute away from private meeting notes

Stillnote_0.2.8_aarch64.dmg is downloading now. If it did not start, download it again here. Everything below takes under a minute.

Install

Open the downloaded file

Click Stillnote_0.2.8_aarch64.dmg in your browser downloads or in the Downloads folder.

Drag Stillnote into Applications

In the window that opens, drag the Stillnote icon onto the Applications folder. That is the whole install.

Open Stillnote

Launch Stillnote from Applications or Spotlight. The app is notarized by Apple, so it opens without warnings. No account, no signup, and no credit card needed. The first launch downloads the on-device AI models it needs, then everything runs locally.

Grant the two permissions that make it work

Stillnote listens through your Mac instead of joining your call with a bot, so macOS asks for two permissions the first time you record:

Approve both prompts when they appear. Audio is processed entirely on your Mac and never uploaded anywhere. If you miss a prompt, you can enable both later in System Settings under Privacy and Security.

Get your first notes

Join any meeting like you always do

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, Webex, or an in-person conversation. No bot joins and nobody sees a recording notice from Stillnote, so make sure you have whatever consent your participants or jurisdiction require.

Hit New Meeting in Stillnote

The transcript streams live while you talk. Connect your calendar later and Stillnote can start recording for you automatically.

End the meeting, keep the notes

Summary, action items, and a searchable transcript appear seconds after you finish. Your to-dos from every meeting collect in one To-Dos view.

Questions or something not working? The FAQ on the homepage covers the common ones. Requirements: Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 13 or later.

Stillnote is free for 5 enhanced notes a month. Upgrading to Plus or Pro happens inside the app if you ever want more.
